Worker dies at Nairobi Restaurant Fire

One worker died and property worth millions was destroyed following a fire at a restaurant in Buruburu suburbs, Nairobi on Monday night. The restaurant popularly known as Casuarina club is reportedly owned by the Nairobi County governor, Mike Sonko. 

The cause of the fire, which broke out when the workers were closing the premises, is yet to be established. Nothing was salvaged from the premises despite the quick response by the county's firefighters.

The worker's body was moved to the mortuary as investigations continue.
